Growing up, people would usually call me "skin and bones" as if only a slight gush of wind would literally knock me off the ground. I was so thin back then. I already reached college but still nothing seemed to change. My self-esteem was not really that high and to make things worse I also had a lot of pimples to match. That's when I decided it's time to make a move.
College days with Love and Johaida. "Skin and Bones".
Somebody encouraged me to apply for a gym membership and I did. At first I was very hesitant because I know nothing about gym and i was also very anxious and shy if ever I will work out alone. For the first 2 months, I hired a trainer that will assist and teach me the basics of gym. They also encouraged me to try out protein shake if I wanted faster results.
Whey is the most common base for the protein powder, as it contains all of the nine essential amino acids that facilitate the healing of damaged muscles.
Personally, I use protein shakes following a workout simply because of the convenience. I always try to remember that I could completely replace protein powders with whole foods and suffer no negative side effects other than having to rethink my post workout logistics. Protein shakes are a helpful, convenient solution to modern workout life; they're not a magic wand that will turn your body into a temple overnight.

I know it's not much like the pro body builders out there but it's definitely a start. I have been doing this for 4 months now and I am very passionate about it. There are also times when I feel lazy going to the gym but I just think of the reason why I started this. To achieve something you’ve never had before, you must do something you’ve never done before.
