Ilocos Revisited

“People travel to faraway places to watch, in fascination, the kind of people they ignore at home.” – Dagobert D. Runes

While teaching my Korean students, they suddenly thought of going out for a weekend getaway. I, having nostalgia of my province, suggested "what about Ilocos?" There it goes! Boom!

We stayed in my aunt's house, had breakfast in my grandfather's pond (fishing then grilled immediately). Then, went to Vigan. We visited historical places, Baluarte zoo, etc.. After eating empanada, we went straight o Cabugao beach for a bonfire.

On the 2nd day, went to Ilocos Norte to visit Pagudpud beach and the breath-taking windmills ang lighthouse. it's more than what we expected. The view was really amazing.

Hopefully, we could go back again.
